Migraine Help ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Migraine Help collects the following data to provide its core functionality:

• Health data via Apple HealthKit: sleep duration, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), step count, and menstrual cycle data
• Location data: used once daily to retrieve local barometric pressure from a weather API. Your precise coordinates are not stored.
• Migraine attack logs: dates, times, pain levels, symptoms, and medications you enter manually
• Daily self-reports: how you're feeling on non-migraine days
• Onboarding responses: migraine frequency, trigger selections, cycle information, and medication preferences

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All health data collected by Migraine Help is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your health information. Your migraine logs, HealthKit data, and personal health profile never leave your iPhone.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide app functionality:

• Calculating your daily migraine risk score
• Identifying personal trigger patterns
• Generating your doctor report PDF
• Sending relevant push notifications (morning risk alerts, weather alerts)

4. What We Never Do

We will never:

• Transmit your health data to any server
• Share your health data with any third party
• Use your health data for advertising or ad targeting
• Sell your data in any form
• Use HealthKit data for any purpose unrelated to health and fitness

5. Apple HealthKit

Migraine Help uses Apple HealthKit to read sleep, heart rate, HRV, step, and menstrual cycle data. In accordance with Apple's requirements:

• HealthKit data is never used for advertising
• HealthKit data is never shared with third-party analytics platforms
• HealthKit data is stored only on your device
• You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Migraine Help

6. Location Data

Location is requested once to determine your local barometric pressure using the Open-Meteo weather API. Your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather data and are not stored by us. You can deny location permission and the app will function without weather-based predictions.

7. Analytics and Advertising

Migraine Help uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK solely to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This SDK may receive:

• App install events
• Subscription purchase events (amount and currency only)
• Onboarding completion events

No health data, migraine logs, HealthKit values, or personally identifiable health information is ever sent to Meta or any advertising platform.

8. Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Migraine Help uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase receipt and subscription status only — no health data.

9. Deleting Your Data

You can delete all data stored by Migraine Help at any time:

1. Open Migraine Help
2. Go to Profile tab → Data & Privacy
3. Tap "Delete All My Data"

This permanently deletes all migraine logs, daily records, and your personal profile from your device. Note: deleting app data does not cancel your subscription. Manage your subscription in iPhone Settings → App Store → Subscriptions.

10. Children's Privacy

Migraine Help is intended for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 12.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a notice in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
